The chefs of Babbo Ristorante Ed Enoteca are traveling to Tuscany, Italy to join Sandra Lotti and the chefs of Toscana Saporita Cooking School for a one week instructional culinary vacation.
Lessons and menus will be derived from Mario Batali's "Babbo" cookbook. Mario Batali (Molto Mario) will join the class on Friday for lessons and dinner. A profile in The New Yorker described Mario Batali as a “larger than life” character, “arguably the most widely recognized chef in New York.”  His exciting and accessible cuisine, his down-to-earth, informative teaching style and his warm, playful personality have gained him a broad following

Sandra Lotti
Is known throughout Italy for her cookbooks on Tuscan regional cuisine. She has also co-authored with Anne Bianchi, 'Dolci Toscani', the definitive compilation of Tuscan dessert recipes and a contributing writer for Intermezzo cook magazine. Lotti is the owner and managing director of Toscana Saporita Cooking Schoool, she frequently contributes to Italy's most prestigious cooking magazines and conducts private cooking lessons when classes are not in season. Sandra Lotti embodies the essence of the Italian spirit in her warmth, her zest for life and her passion for great food.
