| "... I chose Toscana Saporita from La
Cucina Italiana. I was a bit learly of choseing a cooking school from
a magazine but I figured who else would know of the best cooking schools.
One nite I was out in the West Village in NYC and I spied Mario Batali so I got my courage up and asked him if he had ever heard of Toscana Saporita and he said the cooking school? are you going there?? I told him I was going in May and what did he think of it...... he told me that I would learn everything about Tuscan cooking and the woman that runs it is a fantastic cook and when I get there make sure that I tell her that Mario said hello. That made me feel so comfortable with my choice for a school. A friend asked me if it met my expectations when I returned. I told her it was my dream come true in fact I have another dream and that is to return one day......." Debra Zagoreos/ Class May 2005 |
